While most countries are promoting the use of single-use packaging made from compostable material, Singapore is promoting the use of reusables instead. Why? Because of land scarcity. Singapore incinerates waste instead of putting them in land fills. As such, it makes more sense to promote the use of reusable packaging and other products.
