This article published in the Straits Times on 27 Feb 2022 highlights the severe challenge we have with plastic waste, especially in the ocean. It is not unthinkable that we are already partaking micro-plastics ingested by sea creatures. We can start by using disposable products made only from biodegradable materials, because disposable products have a higher tendency to end up in the oceans.
